Welcome

So, I wanted to start by posting the email that I sent to all friends and family...if you are reading this blog it applies to you as well.


Hey all,

Sorry but you are going to have to bear with me for one more little note. I think I didn't realize how tough goodbye would be or really give it the thought it deserved with all the excitement and getting everything ready to leave...it really starts sinking in when you have to say those goodbyes not knowing when you will see someone again. I know it isn't anything permanent but when you have such close personal bonds with so many people...it is tough to not have the option to see them everyday.  Each of you have had a profound effect on me and helped make me the person that I am and I hope that you are able to take pride in that. You guys have been there for me through all the ups and downs and I value every moment...the laughs, the tears, and even sitting in silence not having to talk because you can just appreciate having that person in your life will never be forgotten.

I think it is important to share appreciation of friendship with those who have great meaning in your life and this is me telling you that I appreciate and love all of you for who you are and what you do. More and more I realize that it isn't the things we have but the relationships we make that define us as a person...the relationships I have built just re-affirm that I have done something right.  I wish that we could all have more times like this past weekend but that isn't realistic...but we will always have our memories to treasure. I hope that you have or find the happiness you deserve...life is all about finding what makes you happy.  I am hoping that this is where my venture takes me...and with friends like you supporting me I know I won't fail.  I could go on for days trying to explain what you all mean to me but there is no way the words would do it justice.  I love you all and wish you nothing but the best and look forward to the day when I can see you all again.
